Trading the Blur for Biblical Clarity
Hey there,
Before I started this podcast with Efrain, I spent a significant part of my career in the eyecare industry. My daily mission was simple but vital: help people move from "the blur" toward clarity.
While I wasn't the one diagnosing, I walked closely with patients through the frustration of not being able to see what was right in front of them. That experience has deeply shaped how I understand our walk with God.
The Danger of Spiritual Blur
In the exam room, when physical vision is blurry, people seek help immediately. But when our spiritual sight becomes clouded by anxiety, fear, or a difficult season, we often try to push through it alone.
We forget that Jesus warned us about the importance of our "internal" vision:
“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.” — Matthew 6:22
What Are You Asking For?
In Matthew 20, two blind men shouted for Jesus as He passed by. When He stopped and asked what they wanted, they didn't ask for a new job, a change in their government, or a specific "outcome."
They simply said: “Lord, we want our sight.”
How often do we beg God to change our circumstances when what we actually need is clarity? Clarity was their gift—and following Him was their immediate response.
If your vision feels a little cloudy today, don't ignore the blur. Stop focusing on the outcome and start fixing your eyes on the Light.
We’re honored to be walking this narrow path with you.
Keep your eyes fixed,
